primary connection fails?

A dedicated connection is your foundation. Internet 2.0 SD-WAN adds a managed strategy for staying online.

One connection.
Or a way forward.

Standard DIA delivers committed commercial Internet. Internet 2.0 brings a secondary path into the design, with failover logic, traffic management, monitoring and support.

It is designed to keep critical operations connected if the primary link fails. Performance may be reduced depending on the backup path.

What is Dedicated Internet Access?

Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) provides committed bandwidth for business operations. Strato One Business Internet starts at 200 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload, both committed. Additional download capacity is available as your business grows.

What is the difference between DIA and broadband?

The difference is bandwidth commitment. Broadband is generally a shared, best-effort service where performance can vary with network congestion. DIA provides contracted bandwidth capacity, making it better suited for businesses that depend on consistent connectivity. Strato One DIA starts at 200 Mbps down and 100 Mbps up, committed.

What is Internet 2.0 SD-WAN?

Internet 2.0 is Strato One's managed SD-WAN service, designed to improve business connectivity and resilience. It combines intelligent failover, traffic management, monitoring and support. Site-to-site connectivity is also available where applicable. Internet 2.0 is a separate managed service from your DIA connection.

How does Internet failover work?

Internet 2.0 monitors your available Internet connections and automatically switches traffic to a secondary connection when the primary connection fails. Strato One designs, configures and manages the failover strategy around your business requirements and available connections.

What happens if the primary Internet connection fails?

With DIA alone, an outage can interrupt your Internet service until connectivity is restored. With Internet 2.0 and a properly configured secondary connection, traffic can fail over automatically to help keep your business operational. Performance during failover depends on the capacity and availability of the backup connection.

Can Strato One connect multiple business locations?

Yes. We connect multiple business locations using managed SD-WAN and our network infrastructure. Whether you operate offices, warehouses, clinics, schools or other facilities, we can design a connectivity solution that allows your locations to communicate securely and reliably. We currently support customers with networks spanning approximately 10 locations.

Do you provide static IP addresses?

Yes. Strato One DIA requires at least one static public IP address. Static IP addresses are $20/month each, in addition to the advertised Internet service price. Additional static IP addresses are available when required.

Why does upload speed matter for businesses?

Your business sends data just as much as it receives it. Cloud backups, video conferencing, VoIP, security cameras, remote access, VPNs and large file transfers all depend on upload capacity. That's why every Strato One DIA connection starts with 100 Mbps of committed upload bandwidth, alongside 200 Mbps of committed download bandwidth.

What areas of El Paso does Strato One serve?

Strato One serves businesses throughout East El Paso, West El Paso and Downtown El Paso, along with Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Availability depends on your location, network coverage and site qualification. Contact us to confirm service at your address.

Do you serve Santa Teresa?

Yes. Strato One provides business Internet connectivity in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Our monthly service pricing is consistent across our service area. Installation and construction costs may vary depending on the location. All service is subject to site qualification.

How long does installation take?

Many installations are completed within approximately 1 to 2 weeks following site qualification and order approval. Actual timelines depend on equipment availability, network access, site readiness and any required construction. We will communicate the expected installation schedule before proceeding.

What does installation cost?

Most installations involve a one-time installation and activation fee ranging from $295 to $995. The actual cost depends on your location, equipment requirements, network path and installation complexity. Sites requiring additional construction or specialized engineering may cost more. Your formal quote will identify the applicable charges.

Can I increase my Internet speed later?

Yes. Strato One Business Internet is designed to grow with your business. Every DIA connection starts at 200 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload. Additional committed download capacity is available, subject to network capability and pricing. Upgrades are permitted during the 36-month initial term. Downgrades are not permitted during that term.

Does Internet 2.0 include the backup Internet circuit?

No. Internet 2.0 is the managed SD-WAN service, not the underlying Internet connections. A secondary connection is required for Internet failover. We can help identify and coordinate suitable options, including broadband, fiber or fixed wireless. The backup connection may be contracted and billed separately by its provider. Strato One handles its integration into your managed SD-WAN environment.

What is the difference between standard DIA and Internet 2.0?

DIA provides your Internet connection. Internet 2.0 helps keep your business connected when a connection fails. DIA delivers committed commercial Internet bandwidth. Internet 2.0 adds managed SD-WAN capabilities such as automatic failover, traffic management, monitoring and multi-location connectivity where applicable. Internet 2.0 is an additional service. Both primary and secondary Internet circuits are priced separately from the SD-WAN management service.

Can Strato One provide commercial wireless links?

Yes. We design and deploy commercial point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and fixed wireless connections. Wireless can be an effective alternative when traditional wired infrastructure is unavailable, expensive or impractical. Each installation is engineered around the specific location and connectivity requirements.

How far can commercial wireless links reach?

Many of our wireless designs operate over distances of up to approximately 10 miles. Longer distances may be possible depending on equipment, terrain, line of sight and available network infrastructure. Every wireless connection requires site-specific engineering. Distance and performance are not guaranteed without qualification.

Who do I call if an underlying carrier has an outage?

Call Strato One at 915-248-4800. We coordinate troubleshooting, carrier escalation, network diagnostics and follow-up. You deal with Strato One rather than managing multiple service providers yourself. Standard support is provided during business hours, with after-hours escalation available for critical connectivity issues.

What are the contract and renewal terms?

Strato One Business Internet has an initial 36-month service term, followed by annual automatic renewals. Renewal pricing may increase by approximately 5% to 10%, depending on market and economic conditions, subject to the service agreement. Service upgrades are permitted during the initial term. Downgrades are not. Complete terms are outlined in your service agreement.
